A Message from Chuck…

Hi, my name is Chuck Smith and I’m the founder of Gruntled Enterprises, a company dedicated to helping local businesses develop an effective Internet presence that generates business.  I don’t believe in “pretty” sites that look good but do nothing to increase your bottom line.  Using advanced techniques for search engine optimization, email marketing, and social media, I will create a web site that looks good, is easy to update (by you), and offers a way for your customers and prospects to contact and interact with you.  The result… increased visibility and a true return on your investment.

Let’s face it… If you don’t start using the Internet to your advantage, your competitors will.  More and more, people are turning to the Internet to locate local businesses, research information, and make buying decisions.  If you don’t want to be left behind, you need to develop a more effective web strategy now.

About Me

Over the past 20 years, I have been working as a marketing professional at a number of companies in the Bay State.  From Fortune 500 powerhouses to nimble start-ups, my main marketing goal has always been to help promote my company and aid the sales team in converting leads into actual revenue.  And, since the late 1980s, I have been working on the Internet.  I have developed hundreds of web sites, and have become an expert at developing relationships via email.  Web marketing is highly effective at creating a relationship with your customers and prospects and moving them along the decision cycle to make a purchase. Today, the new rule of marketing is “He who provides the most information, wins.”

What’s Up With “Gruntled Enterprises?”

Many people ask me how I came up with the name of my company,  “Gruntled Enterprises.”  Well, here’s the definition of gruntled:

grun•tle: [back-formation fr. disgruntle] to put in a good humor <were gruntled with a good meal and good conversation — W.P. Webb>

Basically, I like to laugh and have a good time.  It seemed like a perfect name for my company.
